Hispanic/Multicultural Outreach Ministries
The Robinsons the developers of Multicultural and Hispanic Outreaches believe Multicultural ministry development needs to have a “tomorrow” thinking community mindset. It shall consist of individual and Team members on all sides of the cultural chasm who want to support multicultural ministry in the local church, region and ultimately through the nations (Acts 1:8). The purpose of multicultural ministry is to serve Jesus Christ and Christ's mission by fostering a national view of evangelism by empowering multicultural outreaches, activities, events and by enhancing the ministry of the Body of Christ at large by weaving a network of relationships through out. This network can flow through and with the existing ministries encouraging a global prospective of diversity. “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth” Acts 1:8 Jesus promised the coming of the empowerment source to do the task at hand. Though the Great Commission was one task in it’s self, it still entailed four distinct parts. All of which necessitated completion in order for the central task to be completed. Jesus disciples were to evangelize:
- Locally in Jerusalem
- Nationally in Judea
- Culturally to the ethnically diverse named the Samaritans
- Worldwide Only after the other three were fulfilled did Jesus open the door to the nations
Empowerment is here for every individual. Now a mandate of Christ is made manifest in many ways including the Geneses of this nations new Largest Ethnic Minority the Hispanic Population. Bridging the great cultural divide between all people groups (the tapestry of nations) especially in this country and therefore bringing about a new kind of unity, that of equality and not of arrogances, is our foremost purpose for “This time”
